Easter

I have been playing with they Easter kit again, as the characters are so cute!! I decided to make my little cousin a Easter card to go with her present.

I decided to make an Easel card.

The papers either came from the Easter kit, or from the Me to You Kit i bought a few months ago. The Heart brads are from the first ever purchase i made when i started this hobby. I also have added some pink gems for extra sparkle.

Birthday Boy

My name is Shere and I have an addiction to DoCrafts Goody bags.

I LOVE THEM!!

I was going to resist and i did try with all my mite, i even ordered my Creativity mag online so i would have to look temptation in the face. But when i saw what was included i could not fight the urge any longer. The bag is full of bits and bods for male cards and i do struggle with masculine cards.

Included was the following decoupage kit, i love this little set sooooo cute. Alhtough the decoupage dosnt show that well in the photos.

So well in advance as my son's birthday (it is not until October) i have made this card ready as just wanted to play :)

Everything came from the goody bag apart from the wording on the front step, that came from the Forever Friends die cut greetings set the fell into my hands recently.

It is the second stair card i have made, the first ended up in the bin, but the proportions of these cute little boys fit prefect.

I am on top of birthdays for the year, in fact double over but my Christmas challenge is not working out to plan. So expect some advance Christmas makes next as i need to crack on so unlike last year i don't run out of inspiration, time!

Easter

I went shopping on Tuesday looking for some goodies to make the children's Easter Cards. I have some bit and bobs but nothing shouting out to inspire me, so whats a girl to do but - go get more stash!! lol.

I love these decoupage sheets and included in the Daisy ad Dandelion pack where papers suitable for my son and my daughter.

So some peace was found yday afternoon so i could be creative for an hour or so...plus i had the chance to open the cutting set my nan bought for me from Aldi, very impressed it has templates for circles and ovals, cuts straight lines (thank god - I'm useless at that) it also does perforation cuts, and waves for decorative edges. It comes with a long ruler and cutting mat - bargin for 7.99 - THANKS NAN!!

One for my Daughter

One for my Son

I just need to spend the time from now until Easter to make them a hamper of fun activities for the day - any ideas?

i have pulled my finger out

Ok So after days of wanting but not actually doing anything i have a new creation.

I used the Template that came with a past issue of papercraft inspirations to make the cute little handbag. However i did have a helper crafting next to me and helping me so things are not as precise as they could be looking at the pictures!

I added thin strips of acetate in the bag and attached to these Flowers in my nans favourite colour - purple.

Each flower then holds a letter to spell the word Nanny.

I then added some sticker letters to spell out Happy Mothers Day to the front.

The latch of the bag is held down with a pink flower brad and i have filled the inside with purple tissue paper the try hold the shape a bit better.

Finally i added some bling and my favourite thing to use at the moment Butterflies!!

Valentines

Ok i know Valentines has come and gone, but i haven't had a chance to get pic's on the pc until now.

This is what i made for the children for Valentines, my Daughter was very impressed but then again she is a CHOCOHOLIC!!!

The cellophane bags are filled with the love bugs that i picked up in tesco. I had a some red and black ribbon in my stash to tie the bags up. I also had some wooden hearts from Hobbycraft, i attached three in diff sizes to some red cord and i think it finished the parcel off great.

My daughter likes the hearts so much that she has taken to wearing it as a bracelet, aww bless.
