Its starting to feel alot like CHRISTMAS

Hello Bloggers,

I have made a few more Christmas cards for my box. At this rate I'm going to be singing Jingle Bells soon then my other half will def think I'm mad!.

I have used mainly recycled bits from last years Christmas cards.

I stuck the tree to an acetate panel to make it look like a window, super cute tree.

Love the little Robins!!

I made this out of acetate but didn't think over where i am going to write the message! But i love it as it is and do not want to fiddle with it so may keep it as an extra decoration of some sorts.

Countdown to Christmas

OK so we are in month 8 not long until CHRISTMAS

Last year i left all Christmas card making till December and was SO sick of Christmas cards by the time i finished i thought i would make a start.

Hope i still like them when the are needed!!

This is an A4 card i put together for my grandparents from the children.

I just love decoupage!!

I found this in the sale bin at the Range earlier in the year and stashed it away, I forgot all about it until my recent clear out - oops!. It was some ridiculous price and i just love it, great thing is plently of extras in the kit to make a good few smaller cards!

Daughters Birthday

Hello Bloggers,

I am loving all this craft time i have managed to get recently!. Like Mother like Daughter, Tamsin enjoys getting out her craft box and making special pictures with Mummy - Bless her!.

However while she was in bed the other night and to subside that - I NEED to make a card urge, i set about her birthday card. Her birthday is not until October but i wanted to have a play with the Forever Friends A4 card kit i picked up a few weeks ago.

Here is the card...

I have added some bling.

Tamsin has Forever Friends wall stickers in her bedroom and loves the ballerina and I just LOVE Forever Friends, super cute!.

I was very pleased that the kit had plenty of extras so i should get another good few cards out of the remainder.

In a Fix!

Hello Bloggers,

Bless my neighbour yesterday. He was struck by the 'Oh *$%^ Its My Wedding Anniversary Today And I Don't Have A Card!!!!!' problem.

He asked my other half to pick him up a card from Tesco whilst out - I can do better than that he said i will ask Sherie to make you one.

My Neighbours know i make cards and he was very please with the result....

Its a bit basic as i only had 30mins to put my thinking cap on tightly and hand over the finished product before leaving for work!!

Hope it kept him out of the Doghouse

Birthday Mini Word Book

Sorry Bloggers this is a long post and Image heavy.

Likewise to my Aunt (who loved her Birthday Mini Album - posted back in June) i wanted to give my Mum something Handmade to go with her presents.

I bought one of the new Papermaina word books from Ebay (i am trying to stay out of the Range - i spend way to much).

I didn't really have a final image in my mind just let it flow and this is how it ended up....

I used the Papermaina papers, family pictures, Glitter transfers (love them) gems, flowers, buttons, ribbons, frames, felt butterflies and some glass pendants to hang from the front. I did ink the edges of the pages but you cant see it that well in the photo's.

The first page is a simple, no pics as two small a space.

Inside most other pages have a picture and then state how my Mother is connected to the picture..so a picture of my Mum (on a extra acetate page), i added simple words to the flowers like, Special, Lovely and Beautiful Friend.

This page has a picture of my Grandparents and the word Daughter.

Now the pages get to long to fit in one shot!!

Had to fit in a felt butterfly - love them.

This is an OLD picture of me and my brother together, a rare picture of me that i like, lol.

The word Mother, with a first for me, i tried to make a flower out of lace i am not sure it worked but i still like it. Followed by two pictures of my Mum and both me and my brother. I love the little frames -i had a box full of different bit and bods by making memories from Hobbycraft in the sale for a pound - so cute!

This page holds a picture of my Mum and my Children just after little Morgan was born, seems like an age ago! and very Simple, the Word Grandmother.

This page has a shaker box full of clear hearts and the words love to show off the word Wife, i do not have a great picture of my mum and Steve so have left the following page blank for her to fill in frame. (however if Steve is back in the country soon i may ask him for one - if i ask my mum directly she will know i am up to something and she lives to far away to snoop one!)

The back of the album. A basic frame with a picture of the girls together, My Nan, My Mum, My Daughter and Me. The wording ' 4 generations'. I have not added to many embellishments to this page a it may get a bit of a wearing being so exposed.

That took ages to upload!

Birthday Boys

The Twins next door are 6 today. We have lived here three years and they were little dots when we moved in, they have so quickly grown into little men and are very funny.

Children's cards i find easier than mens but i still had to have a good ponder over what to create.

Being Twins they have everything the same - to save mum the hassle i suppose but i decided to make two different cards as they are so different in personality.

Excuse more of my bad pictures...

This is for Tyler, the more laid back of the pair....

I used the Smirk decoupage pad and matching papers. Added some puffy monster stickers from paperchase and finally transferred the words 'super hero Tyler'.

This is for Kal, the more boy stress of the pair....

Again i used the Smirk decoupage pad and matching papers. I added for puffy space stickers from the poundland (2 huge sheets of stickers for a pound - bargain!) I had to add eyes to the spaceman it was freaking me out a little bit!! Finally transferred the words 'Space Man Kal'. You cant see in the picture but the paper has little white traces over it like a plane leaves in sky - cute.

Hope they like them!!
