Hello

Hello,

I have a new addiction thanks to Craftygrany on MSE who uploaded a link for you tube that i very stupidly followed and now i cant stop oggling other peoples craft rooms!!

I WANT A CRAFT ROOM!!!

In a sulk i decided to re arrange the unit that holds all my stash.

In a better mood after stroking some lovely papers i decided to try make a card for the children to give to Daddy on his birthday.

David is addicted to his XBox, so the card has an XBox controller fashioned from card and inked around the edges, i found some freebie papers to use as the buttons, also a freebie arrow and sentiment.

I found some thin black string to add as the cable for the controller. The words in the corner of the card say Game On.

I am very pleased and think my OH will love it!!

Valentines

In a recent raid at the Range, i couldn't leave without this Forever friends Kit for decoupage and pyramid makes.

I wanted to get some Valentine bits in as do not have anything to fallback on if my stamping attempt did not go to plan, lets just say the stamping swiftly ended up in the bin!!

The card above is for my other half, inside is a little vellum pocket that holds a lucky in love lotto scratch card.

I also have two other loves in my life my Daughter Tamsin and my Son Morgan so the following are little valentines cards for them to share the love.

I really like Forever Friends and will be buying more of the range when i next go to the range.

Sorry for the blurry pic's.

A mini book for ME!!

Have been meaning to do this for ages after i came across the idea thanks to Debbie and Country Heart and Home (AMAZING BLOG!)

Sorry the pics below are not the best, i just cant seem to take a decent photo recently.

The pages read statements such as -

My mother taught me about LOGIC - because i said so that's why!

My mother taught me about FORESIGHT - make sure you wear clean underwear incase you're have an accident.

My mother taught me about STAMINA - you will sit there until that cabbage has gone!

I really like all things with butterflies and fairies at the moment so that is the theme of the book.

Hope you like it as much as me!!

I think i have now got the bug back as cant stay out the crafty bits area. I am trying to use up the oldest bits and bobs i forgot about before i attack all the new goodies!!!.

My Nan and Grandad LOVE their garden.

The top one is for my Grandad who is keen on growing his own veg. The paper is from a Forever Friends male paper pack - love it and the toppers are again from a local pound shop.

The second is for my Nan who is the boss of the flowers!. The paper i had in a card making kit i bought from Argos when i first felt the urge to try card making early last year. Again everything added was from the local pound shop.

I need to personalise them and will give them from the kids on their Birthdays.

A card for Daddy

I am planning on being super organised this year so in prep for my other half's birthday i made this while i should have been cleaning up the house!

He is mad about fishing and the paper was free with a magazine, that i came across while sorting out a stash of old mags to pass on to my card making Auntie. Infact everything bar the buttons were freebies!!

Easel card

So i recently discovered this shape card thanks to MSE and the lovely Rainmac.
Have been meaning to try one for ages, so here is my attempt i think it is going to be my trend for 2010!

I found a use for my vellum pockets, yey!!!

New Stash!!

Morning all,

Still haven't crafted since way before Christmas when i got so sick of the sight of Christmas cards i couldn't take anymore, lost my mojo and just cant seem to will it back. To inspire me i have been on a raid at the range - A Small Fortune later....

These were my goodies form the sale boxes, not a lot to be had :(. They had deep boxes FULL of stuff but all the best bits at the bottom getting squashed and broken - Shame.

The poinsettia decoupage kit will make a scrummy Christmas card for my Grandparents and my Nan LOVES Poinsettias, me to they just say Christmas - just happy i don't have to make it till next year

I got a little Christmas scrapbook kit that is going to record the Elf visit from December, i am missing Snow Toes already.

This is one of those Dove craft gift boxes, a belated Christmas present to my self, i bought it because i can sometimes have issues mixing and matching things that will work together, the job is done for me in this box and I'm very pleased, great papers and ribbons, brads and all manor of scrummy stuff - NOW JUST HAVE TO TALK MYSELF IN TO USING THE ABOVE INSTEAD OF JUST LOOKING AND TOUCHING FOR MY FIX!

I did buy some other papers, vellum's, flowers, stickers, vinyls the list goes on i was very very GREEDY but i am very very HAPPY.

I do still want some Papermania brush markers but think i better wait till next month!

Also found CREATIVITY magazine and devoured it from cover to cover Bargin for £2
