Tamins Mini

Hello Bloggers,

I have gained a little friend for crafting sessions - my Daughter.

She always likes to know what i am making and for who/why - she said the other day 'i wish you would make me something' - made me feel bad, so while she was in bed last night i made her a mini album....

She recently found my photo albums and loved looking back at all the old pictures - we look very alike and she got very confused trying to place herself in my baby pictures - bless her!

I decided to make her a mini with pictures of us as a family and it gave me the chance to use the acrylic album i had to get but have been flumped over how to use.

The big Forever friend stickers are the wall stickers now available - Tamsin keeps moving them around the wall and they are breaking so i salvaged what i could.

The other bits are mainly from making memories, some papermania goodies and lots of PINK!. I managed to make use of a recent necklace she broke, reused the large pink heart as a charm to hang from the front.

Her face this morning when she found it was classic, she gave me a huge hug and said 'thank you for making it for me mummy its beautiful like me' = she has carried it around all day and we had to look through it AGAIN at bedtime.

Jewelry

Hello Bloggers,

My mums birthday was this week, to go with the mini album i wanted to try make her some Jewelry.

I have been following other handmade jewelry blogs and a thread on MSE - with some very talented ladies.

I decided to go basic and bought a memory wire bracelet kit from good old ebay in her favourite colours - browns, ambers, golds.

It was not as easy as some people make it look - had a nightmare trying to loop the ends to keep the beads in place!!!

Saying that i am pleased with the outcome...

Will maybe try some more as i found the beading very therapeutic.

Sharing some Love

Hello Bloggers,

So i have two small children Tamsin 3 and Morgan 1. I have recently pulled my finger out and got copies of all the pictures i have to date, that i want to either scrapbook with or add to a mini album or be plain boring and add to the photo album.

I could make mini albums or card after card for the girls/women in my life but the men - that's a whole new post on creative block.

So my choice was to either spend what i haven't got at the moment on MORE stash to create a boys mini album or to share the love and see if i could find something handmade and suitable to my tastes.

I am now the proud owner of the following mini flip album that i purchased from ebay. Its was from ebay seller missybossy65.

I am SO pleased, i think it is amazing!.......

Big THANK YOU to Ali for her stunning work - i will treasure the album and cant wait to fill it!

A Saturday Afternoon

Hello Bloggers,

My cousin has been staying for the past two weeks - Love it when she comes to visit.

She came with a project given to her by her majorette's dance troop.

To raise some funds they had to decorate a smarties tube - as a house for raised sponsor money.

One Smarties tube, emptied with my help of course.....

A very Pink Majorette, complete with twirling baton!!

All my cousins own work i just aided her with supplies and a small bit of help - i think she did a grand job! (She is 14).

Not to be left out, my Daughter wanted her craft project posting (she is 3)....

A great afternoon, with my favourite girls doing my favourite activity - what more could a girl want?!
